Overview
There are three games in the top 40 to be in their final week, Gears of War: Judgment (X360), Lego City Undercover (WiiU) and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (WiiU). As a reminder the Pro data is back up, which means that I am taking requests again for games outside the top 20.
Seven games have 200,000 or more pre-orders, the same as last week, and the top eight has 100,000 or more pre-orders, down from 10 last week. Two games added 20,000 or more, down from three last week and three added 10,000 or more, the same as last week.
Games in Final Week Before Launch
Gears of War Judgment (X360) added 78,905 pre-orders for a grand total of 359,328. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 500,000 to 600,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between 1.5 million units and 2.0 million units lifetime in the US.

Lego City Undercover (WiiU) added 6,797 pre-orders for a grand total of 66,714. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 80,000 to 120,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between 300,000 units and 500,000 units lifetime in the US.
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (WiiU) added 3,064 pre-orders for a grand total of 26,547. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 40,000 to 60,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between 250,000 units and 350,000 units lifetime in the US.

Major Performers in the U.S. – Week Ending March 23
God of War: Ascension (PS3) sales are expected to drop to around 125,000 units in its second week on sale.
StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm (PC) sales are expected to drop to around 100,000 units in its second week on sale.
Overall hardware sales are expected to drop slightly week-on-week. While overall software sales are expected to increase slightly.
Other Hot Games – In Order of Release
Bioshock Infinite (X360) added 13,349 pre-orders, up from 8,291 last week, for a total of 356,111. Bioshock Infinite (PS3) added 6,203 pre-orders, up from 3,257 last week, for a total of 207,143. The game is two weeks away from launch in the USA, March 26, 2013.
The Last of Us (PS3) added 6,190 pre-orders, down from 6,551 last week, for a total of 204,625. The game is 13 weeks away from launch in the USA, June 14, 2013.
Notable mentions: Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon (3DS) added 32,897 pre-orders for a total of 206,686. Injustice: Gods Among Us (X360) added 4,962 pre-orders for a total of 74,183. Pokémon X / Y (3DS) added 3,449 pre-orders for a total of 31,452.
Requests: Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity added 7,060 pre-orders for a total of 23,718. Pandora’s Tower (Wii) added 2,425 pre-orders for a total of 18,017. Sacrifice (PSV) added 2,263 pre-orders for a total of 13,580.
