Electronic Arts has revealed the first day sales of FIFA 13 in the United States. 353,000 units of the game were sold for teh Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version combined. This is a 42 percent increase over last years game, FIFA 12. FIFA 13 sales for the iOS have increase 62 percent year-on-year, compared to FIFA 12.
Electronic Arts announced two days ago that the game passed one million pre-orders worldwide and the demo was downloaded 4.6 million times. No sales figures were given for the PlayStation Vita, 3DS, Wii, PC, PSP, and PlayStation 2 versions of the game.
The game launched on September 25 in North America and will be released in the rest of the world on September 28. The Wii U version is set to launch on November 18.
